Latest tests reveal horse meat sold at Taco Bell U.K.

More horse meat found, this time at taco bell U.K.

For the first time, horse meat has been found on sale in a British food establishment.  The Food Standards Agency conducted several tests that came up negative for horse meat, but four were positive.  Taco Bell is owned by Yum Brands Inc.  There are 3 Taco Bell locations in the U.K.

Horse meat was first discovered in frozen burgers in the U.K. and Ireland.  Testing since has concluded that horse meat is present in many other processed meat products.  Burger King in Ireland was forced to admit that some their burgers contained horse meat as well.  Ikea meatballs in Europe also turned up with horse meat included.  Taco Bell claimed in a statement that they have pulled the menu items that tested positive and have ceased buying meat from the source that had led to the failed tests.
